never submit passwords through google forms

Hey, I've seen this for a couple times in google forms : never submit passwords through google forms. I know it's not recommend to share sensitive information online but I'm quite worried since I have seen this. Does this mean Google forms is not secure enough ? Do you have any alternatives that are safer? Thank you.

Hi Regina, Google Forms have the accepted standards in data collection security. However, I have to remind you that data losses and phishing attacks are not unheard-of incidents during Google Forms history. There were worrying cases in the past that sensitive information of users are extracted and some user data has been lost. You can read these for articles further information on these cases : https://www.funkyspacemonkey.com/google-docs-arent-as-secure-as-you-think http://coolcatteacher.blogspot.com/2012/03/why-schools-shouldnt-use-google-forms.html The best Google Form alternative is JotForm, an online drag-and-drop form builder that not only allows to create secure forms but also comes with advanced features when you compare it to Google Forms. JotForm makes security and privacy its priority for a perfect data collection experience. You can create encrypted forms through JotForm so that only you can access your online form data. In case you'd like to collect payments or health related data from your form users, JotForm has HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR compliance. If you need any help, feel free to contact us.
