To report a known or suspected compliance related issue please contact the Compliance Helpline at 1-866-623-1480. Our Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in both English and Spanish and reports can be made anonymously or by name. Alternatively, reports can be made through the secure web-based reporting site at https://sbuh.navexone.com.

Stony Brook Medicine ensures the confidentiality of the information in the report and the individual making the report.
Stony Brook Medicine endorses employees to report to their supervisor or management instances where they believe violations of policies or standards have occurred.

Stony Brook Medicine encourages employees, medical staff, vendors, patients, and business partners to report to the Office of Compliance and Audit Services or the Compliance Helpline any actual or suspected violations of Stony Brook Medicine’s policies and procedures and/or federal or state law. Calls received by the Compliance Helpline are most often inquiries, but can sometimes be reports of potential misconduct. Our investigatory process includes many methods to determine whether any misconduct occurred.

The Office of Compliance and Audit Service takes all calls seriously. Inquiries are reviewed by the Office of Compliance and Audit Services and may also be reviewed by other applicable departments including but not limited to Human Resources, HIPAA Privacy Office and University Counsel.
